【Occupational Health and Safety Information】Adjustments and Promotion of Infectious Disease Prevention Measures from September 5, 2023

  1. Despite the weakening of the COVID-19 virus and the alleviation of the situation in Taiwan, it is still advisable to avoid crowded public places or enclosed spaces. If it's impossible to maintain a safe social distance of 1.5 meters indoors or 1 meter outdoors, or if you experience any physical discomfort or respiratory symptoms, please enhance your respiratory protection to protect the health of others.

  2. The dengue fever epidemic is severe in the central and southern regions, especially during the rainy season and after typhoons. Stagnant water can easily accumulate in the environment. Hsinchu has reported multiple cases of cross-regional dengue fever infections. Please strengthen cleanliness both indoors and outdoors to prevent containers from collecting stagnant water and breeding mosquitoes. When going outdoors, take effective mosquito prevention measures.

  3. Presently, statutory infectious diseases such as COVID-19, influenza, dengue fever, and enterovirus may manifest symptoms like fever, headache, respiratory symptoms (cough/sore throat/runny nose), unexplained diarrhea, general muscle soreness, altered taste or smell, eye socket pain, skin rash, and other symptoms. Seek immediate medical treatment when experiencing these symptoms, rest at home when ill, and provide the physician with accurate information about your travel and contact history (TQCC) during medical consultations.

Effective September 5, 2023, the following adjustments to the factory's epidemic prevention measures are as follows:

Personnel Management:

  1. Anyone entering the production line who feels unwell or exhibits respiratory symptoms must wear a mask throughout to protect other healthy workers.
  2. Reduce group gatherings for drinking and eating in the break rooms or rest areas and maintain a safe social distance.
  3. Strengthen cough etiquette and hand hygiene.

Restaurant Management:

  1. Avoid face-to-face dining and shared meals.
  2. Enhance hand hygiene before meals.

Other Management:
For statutory infectious disease notifications, please inform your department head and the factory nurse by phone or email.
